Bridges of Hope

The Center for Freedom and Justice along with Khutwat Center established the final ceremony to celebrate the end of “Bridges of Hope” Project, which was funded from TIPH in Hebron.

The project targeted students and their mother's in two schools in the old city of Hebron, that are located in Al Sahla, & Wadi Al Nassara; that is one of the most dangerous areas because of its proximity to Keryat Arba settlement, students have been subjected to different kinds of violence including arresting, beating and attacking both by soldiers and settlers.

The Final ceremony took a place in Al-Natshah hall in the old city – Hebron at 12 pm, were many Palestinians and internationals attended the concert.

Khutwat started the ceremony by welcoming the audience and explaining about the project, and after it a speech for Center for Freedom and Justice took a place in English language to welcome all the international attended the event and to explain to them about the project. After it, the TIPH mission in Hebron – Patricia, talked about the great cooperation they had with the Centers while CFJ translated their speech for the audience.

A series of events including Dabka and Drama were presented from students from both schools “Males and Females” in the old city – Hebron.

After that, a group of artist and clowns from Bethlehem presented a great show for the kids including gifts and singing.

At the end of the concert, CFJ and Khutwat had honored TIPH and many others for their support to the project. Also certificate were distributed upon the students for their participation in this project.


Who We Are?

The Center offers a wide range of opportunities for participants to develop their communication and advocacy and strategic non-violence skills, as well as several microeconomic initiatives that empower local residents to overcome the many obstacles they face. It also works to restore devastated agricultural lands through land rehabilitation initiatives. Through its wide range of empowering community-oriented programs, the Center has built strong ties of support and solidarity among rural West Bank residents.
